Accessibility work
I am a digital-learning problem-solver specializing in content accessibility and inclusive design.
In addition to my work at McGraw Hill, I give talks at accessibility conferences (most typically about my education-focused approach to writing image descriptions). Occasionally I will write an article about some aspect of content accessibility; I mostly leave specific accessible coding advice to the software engineers.

Music
I am (the shorter and higher-pitched) half of Hilo, a folk duo with tight harmonies and loose shtick. Our name is pronounced high-low because it is a triple entendre and because shantymen and sailors didn’t pronounce place names correctly all the time during the golden age of sail.
